Linking three of the world’s six continents and having nurtured three of the most important civilizations of antiquity, the Mediterranean is truly one of the world’s great seas. A cruise is one of the best ways to appreciate its historic cities and rich, diverse cultures. Cruises provide an opportunity to explore ports of call as fascinating, varied and naturally beautiful as Barcelona, Rome and the Greek islands.

Barcelona
It’s no surprise that Barcelona is one of the most popular ports of call on Mediterranean cruises, with its rich history, distinctive culture and striking architecture. After a day spent sightseeing the churches and museums of ciutat vella, cruise passages can take a stroll along the harbour front in Port Vell.

The most popular of all of Barcelona’s attractions is La Sagrada Familia; the Gaudi masterpiece of one of seven throughout the city to have been awarded UNESCO World Heritage Site status in recognition of their exceptional artistic importance. The Catalan capital is the ideal starting off point for Mediterranean all inclusive cruises.

Rome
Rome is the world’s largest open-air museum according to most brochures and guidebooks. Most of the famous sights can be viewed in a relatively short space of time. Dominating the Piazza della Rotonda, the Pantheon is one of the most complete Roman structures in the city. Just a few streets away, the historic Piazza Navona is the site of Bernini’s Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi and a great place to enjoy a gelato.

Before re-embarking onboard the cruise ship, be sure to visit the ancient Roman port of Ostia Antica, which has been extensively excavated over the years.

Santorini
Travelingfrom Rome to one of Greece’s most attractive and most photographed destinations, Santorini is a scenic place to dismbark. The island’s cataclysmic past is hinted at when you arrive into port and approach the dramatic reddish-brown volcano cliffs which provide a dramatic backdrop. An enormous volcanic eruption devasted the island around 1650 BC. These days the island is more peaceful.

Thira and Oia are two of the most recognisable destinations in Greece. Perched atop volcanic cliffs, both are known for their pretty white-washed facades and bright blue cupolas.

Miami-based Royal Caribbean Worldwide, the world’s second-largest cruise line, introduced on February 6, 2006 that it had ordered the largest and most costly cruise ship on the earth, a $1.24 billion vessel which can maintain as much as 6,400 passengers. It is to be named Mission Genesis.

This ship, which is scheduled to be completed within the fall of 2009 by shipbuilder Aker Yards of Oslo, can be 220,000 gross register tons. A gross register ton, a normal measure of a ship’s measurement, is a unit of volume equal to about a hundred cubic feet. It is to be constructed at a Finnish shipyard.

Aker is to be paid 900 million euros ($1 billion) to construct the ship, making Challenge Genesis the costliest ship ever ordered within the historical past of commercial shipbuilding. The $1.24 billion figure contains all bills required for interior ending of the ship. Royal Caribbean contract with Aker contains an choice for a second ship.

Richard Fain, the chairman and chief government of Royal Caribbean said of Project Genesis, “It’s exhilarating to take such a large step into the future. Undertaking Genesis really is a outstanding ship. Its daring design, daring innovation and technological developments will delight our existing clients and assist us attract new ones.”

Aker Yards Finland at present builds Royal Caribbean’s “Freedom” class vessels. Nevertheless, the Mission Genesis ship might be forty three percent larger than the current recordholder, “Freedom of the Seas”, which is at present underneath construction and scheduled to be finished by April 2006.

The most important ship presently in operation is the Queen Mary 2, at 151,four hundred gross register tons. It is owned by the Cunard Line, a unit of the Carnival Corporation, which is the world’s largest cruise ship company. The British-registered liner is 1,132 toes lengthy, more than 236 toes excessive, and may maintain 2,620 passengers. The QM2 is able to crossing the North Atlantic at a velocity of 30 knots. The 14-day 2004 maiden voyage from Southampton, in southern England, to Fort Lauderdale, Florida on January 12, 2004, was utterly bought out months before departure.

The QM2 has 17 decks which maintain 5 swimming-pools, sweeping staircases, a grand ballroom, a 360-diploma promenade deck and lots of luxurious shops. Cunard Line constructed the ship in hope of reviving the glamour of ocean liners, whose mystique has largely been dispelled since jet journey made trips across the Atlantic routine.

A one-way passage from Southampton to New York ranges from $1,817 to $28,000 per person, relying on the type of cabin selected, in addition to a day by day service charge.

The original Queen Mary was launched in 1934 at Southampton by the queen’s grandmother — Queen Mary, spouse of King George V. This ship was slightly more than half the scale of the new model. In the second World Conflict, each the Queen Mary and its sister ship, Queen Elizabeth, were painted grey and served as troopships, since they had been quick sufficient to outrun German U-boats. Winston Churchill later acknowledged that the military use of those ships shortened the battle by a year.

The ship was retired in 1967 and offered to personal investors. It is now docked completely as a seaside lodge in Long Seashore, California.

The QM2 took the title of world’s largest cruise liner from Royal Caribbean’s 1,020 foot-long Liberia-registered “Voyager of the Seas,” launched in 1999.

As a sign of just how a lot passenger ships have increased in dimension throughout this century, the QM2 is thrice the scale of the Titanic, which at 46,300 tons and 800 feet was referred to as the “largest movable object constructed by man” when launched in 1911. However, all the giant cruise ships are comparatively tiny in comparison with the most important of all ships – a 564,seven hundred-ton supertanker Seawise Large in-built 1979, and now called Jahre Viking.

A ship nonetheless within the planning stage would dwarf all present sea-going vessels : the Freedom Ship. It is primarily a plan for a floating metropolis, an enormous barge that would slowly circle the globe every 2-3 years. At 4,320 toes (1,317 meters) long, 725 feet (221 m) large and 340 feet (103 m) tall, the ship is taller than the length of a football area and wider than football fields put together.

It might maintain 18,000 condominium models for full-time residents ranging from $one hundred eighty,000 to $2.5 million, together with a small variety of premium suites priced as much as $44 million. three,000 industrial models for distributors would also be supplied in a similar value range. For half-time residents, there will be 2,400 time-share units and 10,000 lodge units. It’ll additionally hold a on line casino, a ferryboat transportation system, a medical facility providing both Western and Eastern medication in addition to preventive and anti-ageing medicine. A touchdown strip for small jets will cover the top. An onboard school will give students an opportunity to take a area trip into a special country every week for educational purposes or to compete with local schools in sporting events. There will even be an Worldwide Commerce Middle to present on-board corporations and outlets the opportunity to show and sell their products in a special country each week. More than one hundred acres of outside Park, Recreation, Train and Group space have also been planned.

Norman Nixon, who developed the concept for the large ship, has estimated it will take roughly three years to complete as soon as construction begins. To date, this formidable venture has not been capable of entice adequate funding funds to get off the drawing board.

Looking for a way to meet new friends? Take a cruise not only does it make great vacation but also can expand your network of people that can become lifetime friends or business partners.

The cruise vacation industry has blossomed in recent years, offering an array of different experiences for all types of travelers. If you’re interested in taking a weekend cruise vacation, one of the first decisions you should make is which cruise line suits you best. You might be tempted to select your cruise vacation based on itinerary alone, but there are two drawbacks to that strategy. One, weekend cruise itineraries really don’t vary that much across cruise lines. And two, you might choose the wrong cruise line and end up being disappointed in the experience. This is because cruise travel immerses you in the brand of the cruise line, and the brand defines everything: the service, the food, and the activities.

Two cruise lines offering weekend cruise itineraries are Carnival Cruise Lines and Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL). Carnival offers weekend cruises from the East Coast and West Coast, while NCL’s short cruise offerings are primarily from the East Coast. Both brands are generally comparable in price, but there are other important differences to note.

Dining

NCL offers its trademark Freestyle Dining, while Carnival uses a more traditional dining model. Here is the overview on each. With NCL’s Freestyle Dining, you do not have a set meal time. You can make reservations in the ship’s specialty restaurants if you want, or you can simply show up at a dining hall or restaurant when you are hungry. If the tables are all full, the host or hostess will give you a pager, which goes off when a table is available. You can be seated alone or with other cruise passengers upon request. Note that there is an extra surcharge associated with eating in NCL’s specialty restaurants. If you don’t feel like being waited on, you can head to the buffet and eat there.

Prior to 2009, Carnival was serving passengers meals at set dining times. Under this system, you request a dining time when you make your cruise reservation. If you are traveling in a very small group, you will be seated with other cruise passengers, which gives you the opportunity to make some new friends. You also enjoy the same wait staff every night. As with NCL, you can always go to the buffet if you don’t feel like eating in the main dining area. During 2009, however, Carnival began rolling out Anytime Dining on select ships. If your ship offers Anytime Dining, you will have to choose between a fixed meal time and the anytime option when you make your cruise reservation. Selecting the anytime option allows you to show up at the dining hall whenever you feel like it. As with NCL, Carnival will give you a pager if a table is not available. Once the pager goes off, you have to return to the dining hall within ten minutes or so to avoid losing the table.

Accommodations

You will want to do some research on the cabin types available to you. Start by deciding what’s important. How much space do you need? Do you need a window or a balcony to keep from feeling boxed in? Or, are you planning on spending as little time as possible in your cabin? Carnival ships tend to have roomier accommodations in general, but some of Carnival’s three-day ships have very few balcony cabins. Norwegian Sky, which sails from Miami, does have a large selection of balcony cabins.

Atmosphere

NCL promotes a casual style of cruising where there really are no rules. You can relax, party, eat, drink, dance, laugh — it’s kind of a whatever/whenever vibe. You can feel free to be yourself and follow whatever schedule you like. This style of cruising tends to attract a wide variety of cruise passengers; they are diverse in age, background, and lifestyle.

Carnival, on the other hand, promotes itself as The Fun Ship. And many weekend cruisers interpret “fun,” to mean drinking and having a gut-busting good time. Carnival’s weekend cruises cater to young adults, college students, bachelor and bachelorette parties, and the like. There’s a fair bit of goofiness on a Carnival cruise as well, such as Hairy Man Competitions and conga lines in the dining hall.

Either cruise line will show you a good time, as long as you have the right expectations and outlook.

Ready to have some fun? Then take a Carnival Cruise it will relax and refresh you, plus you will meet new people and see exotic places. Vacation memories can last a lifetime make some right now.

Recently, a client was concerned about taking a Caribbean Cruise in the month of October and sought my advice. October is the only month that he can take vacation and he was concerned that a hurricane might interrupt his plans. I told him that I understood his position, and that I once had the same concern until I had my first October Caribbean Cruise. In fact, I prefer an October cruise for a few reasons, which we will discuss later.

Hurricane season in the North Atlantic Basin (the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea) is officially from June 1 to November 30. These dates are not carved in stone, and hurricanes have occurred outside of these dates. However, over 96% of tropical activity occurred during these dates, with the majority of Hurricanes occurring during August and September. During 2007, Hurricanes Dean, Felix and Karen, occurred during the months of August and September. Clearly, the possibility of a Hurricane in October is a wild card.

In fact, I took my first October cruise after 9-11. It was amazing. The children were in school, the teenagers were in college, and the adults had the cruise ship to themselves. I was on the “fun ship” having a time of my life. My journey started in Miami, with stops in the Grand Cayman, Ocho Rios and Cozumel. I could still remember the clear days and gorgeous nights, participating in activities such as Fiesta Seminars, Body Art, Art Auction, Afternoon Tea and Music, Golf, Bingo,

Dancing and a Late Night Show. These all added to my divine cruise experience. Cruises, unlike many other vacation options, provide twenty-four hours world class buffets with European-style cafés, sushi bars and 24-hour pizzeria. You just can’t miss the extravagant midnight buffets. Hey, what more can a guy want?

Additionally, cruise prices in October are much lower than most times of the year. For example, a 7 Day Carnival Cruise to the Western Caribbean in July 2008 starts at $949 per person. However, the same itinerary in October 2008 starts at $579.00,

an immediate savings of approximately $370.00 per person. However, if you are still concerned about the possibility of an October Hurricane interrupting your plan, I would recommend a Vacation Protection Plan (VPP) to mitigate against the wild card risk. VPPs cover trip cancellation, interruption, baggage and contents, and accidents. More importantly, it is unlikely

that you will be at Sea and have to face a hurricane. Cruise Ships cost millions of dollars and it would be hard to fathom a cruise lines placing its assets at risk. If you are at sea and a storm develops the cruise line will change the itinerary to a safer port of call.

Yes, there is a risk with an October cruise, but that risk is no greater than a cruise from June to September. An October cruise will cost you less, the islands will have fewer tourists giving you the best deals, and you can have a great vacation. October cruises are just about the same as anytime of the year. Quite frankly, I love October cruises and I think you will too.

Carnival Cruises are named the Fun Ships for a reason because you have such a good time while you are on them. Perfect for single folks looking to meet new friends.

There seems to be a common denominator amongst cruise ship enthusiasts… they just keep going back. Why? Obviously fun and relaxation.

On a recent Carnival cruise to the Caribbean, my expectation of what fun and relaxation was all about all but exceeded my expectations. I felt as if I needed a vacation just to get over the vacation if you know what I mean. It was that enjoyable. And that’s why we take cruises isn’t it? To enjoy the spirit of adventure combined with plenty of fun.

Travelling with a group has so many benefits than going it alone. Unless you have a special reason for travelling alone, cruises, in my opinion, are best enjoyed in a group situation. However, group or not, if you are thinking of cruising for the very first time, then there are some things you should be aware of.

Even though accomodation is probably one of the last things that should concern you on a cruise I think it’s important to keep in mind that small, windowless rooms can affect some people. Cruise ships are designed for utmost efficiency. If you aren’t planning on spending a lot of time in your stateroom that’s great. But you’re going to have to get some sleep at some stage and my first ever experience in a windowless room was interesting to say the least. It doesn’t matter what time of the day it is, I’m here to tell you that unless you are wearing a watch, distinguishing between night and day is nigh on impossible. If you have special engagements to meet, then either an alarm clock or wake up calls are essential.

Entertainment on cruise ships can either “fall flat on their face” or provide some enjoyable moments. A tip for first time cruisers; pick your marks at the beginning of your cruise and stick with them. All too often I see people trying to spread themselves too thinly by trying to take in too much. Making a plan is a great idea particularly if you are holidaying with a group. Study your itineraries carefully before you sail and decide exactly which shows you want to see.

The choice of dining selection is another area that first timers need to make a note of. Another tip: if you like fine dining and dressing up then make sure you pack something to wear that’s appropriate for the occasion. It’s also a good idea to check to see whether the fine dining areas require booking. Many people were caught out thinking it was just a matter of showing up during dining times, only to discover their chosen restaurant was booked out, sometimes even before the cruise got underway. I must admit, I’m pretty much a casual dining enthusiast. In holiday mode, my motto is to dress the part so the top hat and tails look can wait until I get back on land.

A cruise for many is a once in a lifetime experience. Doing some ground work before you board your ship is always a good idea. And remember, if you’re not sure, ask. The rigors of day-today life can be demanding. A cruise will certainly help you “blow out some of the cobwebs.” Prepare sensibly and you’ll remember forever your R & R experience.

While millions of tourists flock to Mexico every year by land and air, the country has also become the world’s top cruise destination, with cruises becoming more popular and lifestyle specific every year.

According to recent statistics released by Mexico’s Tourism Secretariat (Sectur), some 6.5 million passengers arrived to Mexico’s ports in 2005. The most popular port is by far on the island of Cozumel, located just south of Cancun in the Mexican Caribbean. According to Mexico’s Communications and Transportation Secretariat, 754 ships arrived to Cozumel in the first ten months of 2006, carrying some 1.5 million passengers. The second most popular port is Costa Maya on the Mexican Caribbean, which received 263 ships, carrying more than 500,000 in the first ten months of 2006.

Mexico boasts two dozen port cities. Apart from Cozumel and Cabo San Lucas, Ensenada, Puerto Vallarta and Mazatlan are the most popular ports along the Pacific coast, while Costa Maya in Quintana Roo State and Puerto Progreso in Yucatan State are the most popular on the Caribbean side. In addition to being bustling metropolises in their own right, offering the best in shopping, cultural activities and cuisine to the traveler, most ports are also located just a stone’s throw from the country’s leading archaeological treasures and other attractions. Part of the popularity of cruises can also be attributed to the traveling public’s desire to experience more destinations in one vacation, with most cruises offering stops in at least three or four different destinations.

According to Sectur, in the past two decades the number of cruise ships stopping in Mexican ports has increased dramatically, with most major cruise lines now serving the Gulf, Central Pacific and Caribbean, having incorporated these popular destinations into their itineraries. In 2005, the Mexican government invested more than US $7 million in the development of the Port of Chiapas, Mexico’s newest cruise destination. The port welcomed its first passenger vessel in February 2006.

As the number of cruise passengers increases, the demand for a variety of services and themes have also increased, what the cruise industry often refers to as lifestyle cruises.

Below are just some samples of new cruise offerings:

Sun salutations

The Radisson Seven Seas hosts several lifestyle cruises, among them a yoga cruise from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, to Cozumel, featuring Michael Lechonczak and Robin Whitney Levine, a New York City-based husband and wife yoga team, who will bring the art and science of yoga to guests of the luxurious 700-guest Seven Seas Mariner. Their daily onboard program will offer a variety of options for men and women, yoga beginners and experts of all ages. Classes on meditation and aromatherapy will round out the mix.

Food & wine

The Radisson Seven Seas also offers a special Food & Wine spotlight cruise on the Mariner in March. The cruise, which sails from Los Angeles and stops in Cabo San Lucas, Acapulco and Huatulco in Oaxaca, features a Cordon Bleu cooking school and Sonoma Valley wines. Max McCalman, chef formageur from New York’s Picholine Restaurant will provide expert tips, instruction and 24/7 wine tasting.

Mickey on board

Disney Cruise Line is also increasing its presence to Mexico, offering a variety of cruises to Mexico including calls to Cozumel on the Caribbean side, as well as calls to Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta on the Pacific side. Disney offers special programs for children, teens and as well as adults, offering something for the entire family. The Disney Magic ship to Mexico’s western ports has been enhanced by a 24-by14 foot jumbo LED screen for poolside movies and an expanded fitness and spa center for adults.

Low carbs and smart kids

Carnival’s Fun Ships will make more than 1,100 calls to Mexican ports in 2005, with Mexico being by far the most popular destination for Carnival. Carnival has also diversified its offerings by adding low carb meals to its menus and expanding its kids programs to focus on art, music, science, reading and physical fitness.

Gay travel

Atlantis (www.atlantisevents.com) is one of the largest gay travel tour operators offering cruise packages to Mexico. The Mexican Riviera cruise is one of the most popular, offering five Mexican destinations in eight days on the new Radiance of the Seas ship. Rated by Conde Nast Traveler’s Readers’ Choice as one of the best ships in the world, Radiance of the Seas offers among its many amenities a rock-climbing wall, two pools and an African-themed solarium complete with 17-foot high stone elephants and waterfalls. In Mexico, the ship will visit Ixtapa, Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan and Cabo San

Lucas.

Carnival Cruise Lines has had a bit of a challenge shaking their hard partying image in the last decade. One would be hard pressed not to have a good time on a Carnival cruise. So go ahead take a cruise on the wild side. Upon entering the Carnival Valor and looking up at the multicolored atrium ceiling you know right away this is not your grandfather’s cruise line. This does not mean you have to stay up until all hours getting drunk or worry that your fellow cruise mates will disturb your sleep with their antics. This is a fun ship after all and I bet whatever your idea of fun is you can find it here.

This ship caters to everyone and I mean everyone. Children love the kids programs put on by Camp Carnival where they will entertain your little ones so you can have grown up time alone. After hours babysitting is also available to a small fee until 3am. Teens have their own alcohol and parent free party place called Club O2. The pizzeria is open 24 hours a day and what kid wouldn’t be in heaven with that.

Adults can enjoy a drink and dancing in the Jazz club on the Valor called the Paris Hot Jazz Club. Don’t miss the rotating piano in the Lindy Hop Piano Bar. In fact there is no lack of venues to partake in your favorite beverage or music on board. The Valor has 22 bars and lounges in all. You can dance into the wee hours if that is your choice at the disco. It is called One Small Step Dance Club and plays homage to the first steps made by Neil Armstrong on the surface of the moon.

I was a tad concerned about the reputation Carnival has before I sailed on my first Carnival Cruise ship. I am a very light sleeper and somewhat of an introvert so am not the least bit interested in being loud and boisterous or running about. I was sure I would not have a moments peace the whole trip. I was mistaken. I have discovered there is nothing quite like sitting in a quiet spot overlooking the ocean and reading a paperback novel. Through the week I found many wonderful locations to sit and gaze at the passing sea. My cabin was as quiet as a library. I slept like a baby in a cradle with the gentle motion of the ship rocking me into a rejuevenating sleep.

The Spa experience is to die for. They offer all sorts of massages and exfoliating scrubs. Their hot stone massage is said to draw toxins from your body. I am not sure if it does that but it definitely makes you feel like a sparkling new person. The Spa is connected to the gym area where you can rid yourself of all those extra calories you put in going to the chocolate buffet.

The three swimming pools are filled with sea water and use a salt water chlorinator so your skin feels smooth as silk when you get out and it will not change the color of chemically processed hair. The main pool has one of Carnival’s signature 214 ft spiral water slides. A total of 7 hot tubs await your tense and tired body for a soak.

If food is the pleasure you desire you will not be disappointed. There are casual and more formal eateries to choose from. There are two elegant dining rooms used for dinner every night, the Washington and the Lincoln. Everyone is assigned one of these but are not obligated to eat there at all. There is a upscale supper club called Scarlett’s on board that requires reservations and where you will be charged a nominal extra fee. There is a fish and chips station inside the buffet restaurant, Rosie’s, where oysters are also served. There is an Asian station if you’ve got a hankering for fried rice or noodles. The New York style deli will perk up your taste buds in no time when you see your sandwich piled higher than your jaws can open. Outside near the main pool burgers and hot dogs and fried are prepared on the grilled for those who prefer to dine in their swimsuits.

Your cruise on the Carnival Valor can be as wild or sedate as you want it to be. Try it, you will like it. Do not be afraid to bring Grandma and Grandpa for their anniversary or the children for spring break. A good time will be had by all. Indeed Carnival has got the fun.

The smell of the ocean, beautiful scenery, fabulous places to go to and people to meet! What is the best way to do all of these? Go join an exciting yet relaxing cruise to the most beautiful places on earth!

Nowadays, many people think that going on a cruise trip means spending half of their life savings or that it is just for the rich and famous. Sadly, they end up just staying at home and dreaming of what it is like to go on a trip on places you can only see in the movies or television. With the number of cruise liners offering package tours and promotions you might just find yourself in a day dream that has now become a reality.

If you are concerned about safety, don’t worry, you won’t end up like Jack and Rose in the movie Titanic. With state of the art technology, well maintained ships, and well-trained staff and crew, you don’t need to worry about anything else other than what is next in your “to do and what to see list”. One thing is for sure, you will never get bored whether you are on a fifteen-day transatlantic trip or on a three-day cruise to the Bahamas. Each cruise liner has a lot to offer within its walls. With these concerns aside, budget wise, you can concentrate on the things you need to know when planning a grand getaway.

Are you the adventurous type that prefers to travel alone for a soul-searching, mind clearing, and relaxing journey around the world? Would you like to have a romantic trip with your special someone to the breathtaking Bahamas or to beautiful and exotic Caribbean islands? Alternatively, would you like to take a tour around with a group of friends or with your family to the snow capped mountains of Alaska or lush landscapes of Mexico? Whatever your decision is, there is a perfect itinerary for the trip you wish to accomplish.

Once you have decided that you’re going on a solitary journey, especially with a special someone or you are spending your trip with your family or friends, the next step would be to decide on the length of your stay on this trip and the destinations you would like to visit and see.

After deciding on the place, the people you will be with and the length of your trip, the next thing to do before you pack your bags is to reserve the right cabin for your trip. Majority of the liners have the same types of cabins and will just differ in some amenities. This is from one liner to another. Rest assured that no matter which cabin you choose, the food, accommodations and entertainment services are the same. Here are the four types of rooms you can choose from:

?Suites and Mini-Suites

Considered as the largest and most stylish rooms on a ship, there are also several classes to choose from. Hence, the difference will be in square feet. Furnished with basic facilities, they include spacious sitting areas, walk in closets, whirlpool tubs, and additional special benefits similar to what other cruise liners may offer like concierge and butler services, entertainment centers, fresh fruits and flowers, and a separate bedroom.

?Standard Ocean View Cabins with Balcony

These cabins have their own private balconies, where in, guests can have breakfast, along with a spectacular view. It is also several feet larger than the Ocean View Cabin because it contains a queen-size bed, which is convertible to twin beds. Aside from this, it has a private bath and shower, refrigerator, hairdryer, TV, and telephone.

?Ocean View/ Outside Cabins

These rooms have picture windows, where in, the passenger can look outside their rooms. Hence, some selected “Outside” cabins may have a large sitting area, but just the same, the rooms are furnished with two twin beds, a private bathroom, a refrigerator, a phone, and a TV.

?Interior/ Inside Cabins

These cabins are usually recommended for those on a budget and do not intend to stay in their rooms too much. These rooms do not have portholes in order to see outside of the cabin. Thus, it features a small sitting area, two twin beds, vanity area, personal bathroom, refrigerator, TV, phone, and radio.

Last but definitely not the least on your list, you need to choose the Cruise Liner. With all the information at hand, it would be easier to find the perfect package for you. This is along with the availability of the cruise liner that offers the best services while staying within your budget. The rates of these liners will vary according to the destination, duration of the trip, room, and time of the year when you’ll be having your vacation. Some may even have bonus or promotional offers such as kids sailing for free. So take your pick and get ready for that perfect holiday.

CARNIVAL CRUISE LINES

This cruise will make you travel from the exotic and lush foliage of Hawaii to the magnificent glaciers of Alaska. You will be able to swim with the dolphins and colorful fishes of the Caribbean or take a romantic stroll on the white beaches of the Bahamas. You can also explore places you’ve only dreamt about with Carnival Cruise Lines. The most popular cruise line in the business, they have the largest fleet, newest ships, and a variety of selections to choose from. Offering the best of everything, from their services, amenities, and itinerary, you won’t have to worry about the price it will cost you to have all of this.

Carnival ships offer the finest entertainment without repeating the same show twice while you are on board. After the show you can boogey down the dance floor and pick up a drink at the bar and chat with newfound friends. You can also go to the ship’s casino to try your hand at the slot machines, Craps table, or a game of Poker. Your nights will never lack excitement!

Carnival Cruise Line is the world’s largest and most popular cruise line with twenty-one “Fun Ships” travelling via special and affordable roundtrip tours from three to seventeen days to the Eastern, Southern, and Western Caribbean among five other picturesque foreign destinations. Possessing a festive-yet-casual reputation, Carnival offers multiple choices in dining, entertainment and activity. Each Fun Ship has at least three swimming pools, a full gambling casino, on-board duty free shopping, “Nautica Spa” health and fitness service, and a complimentary fleetwide children’s program known as “Camp Carnival”. A daylong line up of activities for all ages enable Carnival to be the sole cruise line with the capacity to provide a Vacation Guarantee to every guest who comes aboard.

Cruising is ideal for solo travelers because it is so easy to meet other people. Nonetheless, couples, friends, honeymooners, families, and business associates take cruises. The Carnival is like a floating resort with all the deluxe hotels have to offer. You can, breathe in the sea air, bask in the sun, or watch the ever-changing seascape. A reservation for fine dining at the dining room awaits you at all times. Nevertheless, you may opt to enjoy a laid-back buffet-style meal at “Seaview Bistros” or the 24-hour pizzerias. Nightlife is also possible on board with the presence of high-energy dance clubs and the sing-a-long piano bar. For relaxation, you may indulge in their spa that offers massages, loofah treatment, hairstyling, sauna, nail treatment, soothing masks, and even micro-facelifts. If you simply want a quiet private moment or savor a romantic night with your loved one, feel free to stroll along the deck under the starry night.

Carnival cabins are twice larger than those of any other cruise line’s cabins are. They have a balcony, twin beds convertible to king sizes, sitting area, dressing room with vanity area, walk-in closet, wall safe, refrigerator, a private bath, television, and VCR. For more comfort, there is wall-to-wall carpeting and cheerful indirect lighting, and a 24-hour room service.

For kids aged two to fifteen, entertainment covers exploring their “FunShip”, enjoying all kinds of games and contests, engaging in workshops on interesting hobbies, attending parties, participating in talent shows, arts, crafts, watching movies, and swimming. Every activity is under the friendly supervision of Camp Carnival counselors. Each counselor are either college-educated, has child-care expertise, or both. They make sure your children are safe, busy, and having a very enjoyable experience.
In addition, Carnival offers wedding packages suitable to every budget. Knowledgeable and approachable wedding coordinators will handle every detail necessary for the occasion. Either weddings are at beautifully designed lounges onboard or Carnival will cater to your choice of breathtaking locations.

Throughout this warranted break from your busy or monotonous life, your attention will remain fixated as though by a spell. Nothing could be as memorable as the pleasure gained on these tranquil yet enlivening and wondrous days with the persons you so dearly love. Carnival intends for your voyage to be as special and meaningful as you are to them so they offer the perfect holiday within your reach.
