Honolulu Marathon – Man Wins 2 in a Row
Travel Via Dolores congratulates Ambesse Tolosa of Ethiopia for winning his second consecutive Honolulu Marathon despite the unpleasant weather conditions in time of 02:17:26.
Running a marathon makes you a winner in my book, but to win and to win two in a row, now that’s awesome! Congratulations Ambesse and all the runners of the Honolulu Marathon for giving your all.

Ambesse Tolossa of Ethiopia won the Honolulu Marathon for the second consecutive year on Sunday, with a relatively slow time of 2 hours, 17 minutes and 26 seconds. His winning time last year was 2:13:42.
Five-time winner Jimmy Muindi of Kenya was second for the second consecutive year, finishing almost a minute and a half behind Tolossa. His time was 2:18:53. Alvetina Biktimirova of Russia was the women’s winner with a time of 2:33:07. Tolossa said he was happy to win again, and said, “Now Honolulu is my home.”
